Speaker Guidelines

Please register! All speakers are requested to register with their session chair in the Conference Hall at least 15 min before their session start to review the audio-visual equipment.

Presentations for which no speaker has registered may be replaced by standby presentations.

Plan the length of your talk!  The schedule for ICSE-V will be tight, and all authors are requested to remain strictly within their allotted time!

The principal duty of each session chair is the close adherence to the program listing times. It is an ICSE tradition to ensure sufficient discussion time. In order to allow for an active discussion period with the audience after each talk, we request the authors to confine their presentation and question period to within 15 min, 30 min, and 45 min for contributed, invited, and plenary presentations, respectively.

Recommended question periods are at least 3 min, 6 min, and  9 min, respectively.

Upload your presentation!  All authors are requested to transfer their presentation to the computer in the Conference Hall at least 4 h in advance of their session!  For morning sessions this means the day before.  Technical assistants will be present to help with file transfer. All files will be removed from the computer systems by our technical assistants after each session. Speakers who wish to use their own computer system may risk technical problems during switch over from the Conference Hall computer system.  Delays may reduce available time for presentation.  Speakers who require an overhead projector system or have other special requests must contact the Conference Chair in advance, and technical assistants will be available to help before the session.

Please do not wait until your arrival at the Conferenc
